A couple weeks ago (before the longest work week of my life) James and I snuck away for a 3 day weekend. We stayed at a cabin here in Virginia about 3 hours away for some good ol' R&R. We chose to do a vacation rental versus a hotel so we could bring Abe and really just get away from people. Moving to the apartment has been great but there is nothing that can replace the sound of silence and mother nature. Abe loved the freedom of no leash and it gave us a great chance to continue his training. He is such a good dog and learns so quickly. We couldn't love his little butt anymore. Can you believe he has been playing fetch and frisbee (although I'm not sure he'll ever be able to run fast enough to catch it! haha) for almost 2 months now!!

I can't believe how big Abe is! looks like our pups are growing at the same speed. I've been dying to get Lola up to our family cabin so she can run like a mad dog.
